A Reliable Production due to almost no Pump Maintenance
When producing almost 250 – 300,000 kg chocolate a month in the high season, it is extremely important to have a stable and reliable production with reliable pumps. The DESMI ROTAN® internal gear pumps meet the demand and ensure a stable and maintenance-free pump installation.
In the high season the factory produces almost 250-300,000 kg chocolate every month, both light, dark and white, and so far nine DESMI ROTAN® pumps are in operation in the factory and more will follow in the future.
Mr Radosław Redosz, Maintenance Manager, explains: “When we started using DESMI ROTAN® pumps it was clear that this is a pump that we can trust and that is almost maintenance-free. On previous pumps we have had to change the seal often and at least every second month, but today it is rare that this maintenance is needed, as the ROTAN® pump is almost maintenance-free”.

Mr. Redosz continues: “For a long time we had issues with black particles in the white chocolate, when producing at high pressure. The black particles were a huge problem for us. We always have to deliver a high quality and a white chocolate that is actually white. The black particles disappeared when we starting using the ROTAN® pumps. When taking both maintenance and black particles into consideration, it is not difficult to continue using ROTAN® pumps in our production”.

Carletti has three production facilities, two of them are located in Denmark and the last one in Poland. Carletti Polska Sp. z o.o. produces chocolates, stuffed bars, and marzipan products.
