Yet Another Ultimate DESMI Speed-Sweep System Demonstration in Burrard Inlet, B.C., Canada.

DESMI Ro-Clean A/S has a mission to demonstrate our revolutionary product – the Ultimate Speed-Sweep System – all around the world. We want to ‘sweep’ close to our customers and let them see, feel and experience the DESMI Speed-Sweep sensation. We started this year with a demonstration at Odense Fjord in Denmark followed by the March 2015 InterSpill event in the Port of Amsterdam. The system has been subsequently deployed in USA, UK, France, Germany and New Zealand.

This last week, we deployed the Speed-Sweep in Burrard Inlet, B.C., Canada and it was a great success, even proving out deployment from the shore! Consisting of a Ro-Kite Single Vessel Side Sweep (RSVSS), the DESMI Ro-Kite & DESMI Speed-Sweep 1500 was towed at a speed of 3 knots, (and sometimes higher) with just one 12m vessel. The DESMI system sustained its reputation to be a highly effective towable device based on the Ro-Boom pedigree and proven technology.

A quote from the customer underlines the successful demonstration…”The demo went very well. Guys all came back saying it was easy to handle especially how easy it was to launch from the boat ramp. Have seen lots of video already. Congratulations and thanks to all your team for taking the time to do this. …”

Ultimately, these demonstrations prove to be beneficial and constructive, and DESMI will continue this successful path in the New Year with more deployment demonstration, the first taking place in the Middle East region. More details to follow!
