Strong sales growth in the DESMI Group despite challenging global market conditions

DESMI Group delivered strong sales growth in 2025 and further strengthened its market position across
several key business areas,
despite continued global uncertainty and challenging market conditions.

Revenue reached DKK 1,865 million in 2025, corresponding to an increase of 9% compared to 2024. Excluding acquisitions, organic growth amounted to 7%, significantly above estimated market growth, particularly within Marine Engine Room, which remains a core business area for the Group. The growth was further supported by positive developments across Defense, Aquaculture, New Green Solutions and environmental response equipment.

The Marine business delivered strong growth in 2025 and further strengthened its market position, driven by solid demand across core marine applications and a positive development in aftersales. This growth more than offset the expected decline in revenue from Ballast Water Management Systems, as the deadline for mandatory retrofit installations on the existing fleet was reached in the autumn of 2024.

The aftersales business, comprising spare parts and service, also developed strongly in 2025. This positive development reflects DESMI’s continued focus on supporting customers throughout the full lifetime of their equipment through a broader and more proactive service and spare parts offering.

In February 2025, DESMI Group acquired Nordan Marine, a global service provider specializing in maintenance and repair of cryogenic gas handling systems and propulsion systems for LNG and alternative fuel-capable vessels. The acquisition supports DESMI’s ambition to further strengthen its global service and aftersales activities.

In 2025 the Group’s Profit amounted to DKK 114,4 million in 2025 compared to DKK 94,3 million in 2024. The development is related to higher sales but with continued strategic investments in strengthening the organization, including product development, commercial capabilities, IT infrastructure and process efficiency.

Throughout 2025, DESMI continued to invest in solutions supporting the green transition. This included pump solutions for new fuels, carbon capture and Power-to-X, where the Group sees significant long-term market potential. Key milestones included the launch of DesFuel Cryogenic Deepwell pump in September 2025, strengthening DESMI’s offering within alternative fuel solutions, and the introduction of the DesCan Canned Pump for liquefied CO₂, supporting the safe and reliable movement of CO₂ in carbon capture and storage infrastructure. DESMI has also invested in the development of magnetic drive pumps for both existing and new markets, including data centers.
