Celebration of 180th Anniversary and Danish Export Association’s Net Member Award

We are proud to announce that today, in connection with the celebration of our 180th anniversary, we received the Danish Export Association’s Net Member award presented by Mr Ulrich Ritsing, Chairman of the Association, at a reception at our premises in Nørresundby, Denmark.

Mr Ulrich Ritsing stated that DESMI received the award for a number of reasons:

• Very quick implementation of an innovative business concept

• High growth in export turnover

• Strong networking, both in the Danish Export Association, the Blue Denmark, and internationally

Referring to the 180th anniversary of the company Mr Ritsing further underlined that even if you are old, you can still be agile, brave, active, and innovative.

Henrik Sørensen, CEO, thanked the Danish Export Association for the award and also all the business partners and DESMI friends attending the reception for contributing to a successful celebration of the 180th anniversary.

Henrik Sørensen, CEO, underlined that DESMI is very proud of the achievements so far and that they would not have been attained without the very engaged and committed employees that play an important part in the company’s success and he looked forward to the next many years supplying pumps and pumping solutions to all parts of the world.
