DESMI receives 3 new certificates

DESMI receives new certifications for their Ballast Water Management Systems.
DESMI's Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS) received a certificate issued on behalf of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (DEPA) and Danish Maritime Authority (DMA) on 2nd August 2022.
This means that product(s) approved by this certificate is/are accepted for installation on all vessels classed by DNV, unless otherwise instructed by relevant Maritime Administrations.
DESMI's Ballast Water Management Systems also received a certificate issued on behalf of Transport Canada, Marine Safety & Security. This certificate clarifies that DESMI's Ballast Water Management Systems approved by this certificate is/are accepted for installation on all vessels classed by DNV, unless otherwise instructed by relevant Maritime Administrations.
Lastly, DESMI's Ballast Water Management Systems received United States Coast Guard approval certificate from U. S. Department of Homeland Security 4th February 2022. This means that The CompactClean “EX” models meet the requirements of 46 CFR 111.105 and may be installed in hazardous locations to which they are certified on a U.S. flag vessel. It also states that the BWMS may be installed in hazardous locations to which it is certified on a foreign flag vessel subject to approval of the foreign administration.
