New legal entity - DESMI Sverige AB is the name!

“This is a milestone! Our local team have done great efforts in taking more market shares in Sweden, and now it is time to turn our office in Sweden into a legal entity – DESMI Sweden AB is the name of the Swedish subsidiary of the DESMI Group as of January, 2022”, says Managing Director of DESMI Nordic, Henrik Ottesen.

DESMI’s pumping solutions have been represented in Sweden for many years via a network of distributors and agents, but since 2016 a local DESMI team has ensured a high activity level supporting the many Swedish customers – and now it is time to turn the office into an AB (private limited company).

“We see increasing activity in projects and in the day-by-day business, and therefore it is a natural step for our journey in Sweden – and as a legal entity we also make it easier for our customers to do business with us”, says Henrik Ottesen.

The team in Sweden, supporting the segments within Marine & Offshore, Industry and Utility for pumps and pumping solutions, will be supported by DESMI Nordic and the DESMI Group with more than 900 colleagues. The strong co-operation with the partners and distributors in Sweden is foreseen to continue unchanged.

“Our many customers in Sweden have shown great trust in us, which we are thankful for. We look forward to continuing our journey in Sweden supporting the market with energy efficient pumping solutions, ballast water management system and much, much more”, concludes Mr. Ottesen.
