DESMI receives royal attention at the Danish Maritime Fair

This month The Danish Maritime Fair returned for its second edition and expectations were high following the success of last year. DESMI was back as well and our stand drew some exclusive attention when the prince of Denmark stopped by for a talk about green technology.

The Danish Maritime Fair or DMF has been created to bring together industry stakeholders from around the world. Scandinavians are proud of their maritime legacy and the shipping industry is a well-known trademark of the region. Last year the DMF was established to honor these traditions and to offer maritime players an opportunity to initiate and nurture partnerships, show off the latest technologies and discuss environmental issues etc.

The Fair was held in Copenhagen from the 6th-8th of October and among other solutions DESMI brought the RayClean™ technology for display.

Among the enthusiastic participants of DMF was the Prince of Denmark, Joachim who stopped by the DESMI stand to talk about the environment and the green technologies of DESMI. CEO, Henrik Sørensen introduced His Royal Highness to the ballast water treatment system, RayClean™ and the energy saving system OptiSave™ .
