The DESCARGO pumps are basically used for the same purposes as the DESBOOST pumps. The DESCARGO pumps are multi-stage horizontal pumps, usually supplied with an inducer in order to lower the NPSH-value of the pump. During the design phase the inlet and outlet flanges can be adapted to fit the customer's existing pipework.
All the pumps for liquified gases are equipped with a double mechanical seal arrangement and an automatic pressuriser which secures correct pressure of the oil for the mechanical seals, irrespective of the cargo. |
