MISSION
The mission of DESMI A/S is to develop, manufacture, sell, and service pumps and pumping systems, environmental equipment, and special products related to these areas.
DESMI A/S is a globally oriented company, as regards sales and the procurement of components. Sales are effected both directly as well as through wholly or partly owned companies, agents, and distributors.
Main Activities
The DESMI Group develops, produces, and supplies
- pumps and pump systems for marine and offshore related sectors
- pumps and pump systems for public utilities and industrial purposes
- gearboxes and transmission elements
- pumps and equipment for combating oil spills
The DESMI product range, which is completed by agency products from other leading, world-class, manufacturers, is complemented by related services such as the design and installation of pump plants and after sales service through the Group´s well-developed network of service centres. We have customers all over the world serviced by our subsidiaries, branch offices, agents, and distributors.
QUALITY OBJECTIVE
All DESMI products are developed, produced, and marketed under the ISO 9001 quality certification and satisfy all quality requirements as specified by customers.
DESMI products must be of such a quality that our customers consider them to be reliable, functional and of a good design thus fulfilling the promises in the DESMI sales and bid material and with the result that our customers associate the DESMI name with quality.
DESMI products must not be dangerous or in any way be a security risk to the customers/end-users when handled and used correctly. DESMI products are designed and must be designed in such a way that they comply with the existing EU legislation.
If DESMI performs contract work the products will be developed and/or produced in accordance with the same quality instructions that apply to DESMI products and any supplementary requirements specified by the customer.
Further it is DESMI´s aim to continuously improve both our products and services by working towards Total Quality Management (TQM)
The product quality, our abillity to adapt and a high technology level guarantee our customers a partner and a serious problem solver who can offer recognised and durable products.
